We will also continue working to make ocean science more accessible to the public — through storytelling, outreach, and data-driven communication that brings complex marine issues into everyday understanding.
 

Throughout 2026, we expect to continue supporting important research across a wide range of marine environments, and to highlight key issues shaping ocean health — from ecosystem resilience and biodiversity, to the large-scale changes driven by climate and human activity. Our goal is not only to protect life within the ocean, but to connect people with the ocean in a way that feels relevant, meaningful, and actionable.
